Oh man, you did. But your doing a great job of staying positive throughout the ordeal. And trust me when I say it's so worth the wait. This is the first time in about a year that I don't even look at the classifieds here anymore. (Well, sometimes the bass section.) But as far as my rig goes. The Meatsmoke Pre, DemonKing and a tuner into the effects loop of the MarkBass LM2 has been the best tone Ive had in years. Oh and I use a NS-2 sometimes.
Im sure Ill throw the GStache or a RAt on there now and again, but I really dont need to.
Im recording 8 songs in a few weeks. It will be my first time using the MS-Pre dedicated recording output. I'll be bringing along the DemonKing,Stache, Rat and Helio but Im hoping to get through most of it with just the dirt from the Verellen. I will be sure to report back.

You are so right I was a classifieds hound but now I'm finally set. I can't wait to hear how the recording session goes with the Meatsmoke.

The metal shop he hired to do the chassis work has been putting it off (from my understanding). Ben emailed yesterday with an update, saying they now have the chassis layout programmed and in queue for manufacturing and silk screening. I was ready to cancel the rack and just get the pedal, but if the above is true I'll just wait it out for one more month or whatever. I much prefer the rack format.
I guess my only consolation is that I'm not totally dissatisfied with my current rig(s), and don't really know what I'm missing... |

Most recently that is that the job is finally progressing within the next week or so. Fingers are crossed.
I've been keeping relatively quiet about it as to not raise a stink, but I figured it was time for an update. |

I just wanted to post an honest update of the facts as I have received them. I'm definitely not coming on here to stir up **** or call people out and/or call anyone stupid or lazy.
I'm not really that terribly upset about anything yet at this point. If you want to be that's fine, but let's leave the name calling out of it. I don't need or want that on my behalf.

I was told almost a month ago mine was being shipped out. Instead his helper sent my pedal someplace else and I got lost in the files. I finally got an email today with a tracking number. I believe I will get it mid to late next week.
I'm looking forward to it and have been really polite to Ben on the phone. I don't want to raise a fuss, but then again, I did shell out several hundos and was told it shipped a month ago. But life is too short to get bent out of shape over an honest mistake made by a good dude just trying to do good deeds. Hopefully these are growing pains for him and he'll learn to streamline his business better off of these lessons learned. Quote:

Seattle is such a cool town. I lived there for 3.5 years and go back every year for a visit with friends. This trip I'll be doing a little job hunting too, so hopefully I can get back up there. I've lived all over the country, and so far, I love the Seattle area the most.

| | Bartle doo? | | Join Date: Jun 2010 Location: Missing Mountains | | | Finally got my MS-pre last night. It's a beautiful piece of gear. I only played around with it for about an hour. I think my amp tone is drowning out the MS. I'm really not getting that much of a drastic tonal difference. It does get "HOLY BALLS!" loud when I stomp on the boost.
I think I'll try to EQ the amp as sterile as I can get it, and then introduce the MS-pre. I'll be visiting with Ben next week. I'm giong to take full advantage and get a personal lesson on how to get the most out of the MS-pre. I'll be sure to share any tips and pics I get with all of you here.
