Got that one today. I was telling the previous owner that it's absolutely tremendous on the three higher strings but on the lowest string, which is C for me, all that meat it has on the other strings is missing. Anyone else experience this? Could it possibly have something to do with the octave effect?

UPDATE: see my later posts regarding passive vs. active pickups.

Thanks!

I thought you had a Meatsmoke Pre ? That was smart on your part because you have the Meatsmoke Amp.

Just heard this band from Minneapolis yesterday. They are called Self-Evident. Im totally blown away , so I thought I would share with my comrades here in the verellen club. Check out his bass tones on that first track. Really, on all of them. So creative.

Love those guys! We played with them and the bassist's other band Zebulon Pike a few years ago. That guy is a hoss on bass

Sell off whatever's easiest to replace. Take a few cover band gigs to over the rest.

Do ya mean the actual board, or all your pedals? If you still got everything on that list there, you could be ok getting rid of five of them. What you really need to ask yourself if what would be more beneficial. I'm alot happier with a great tube tone over having a delay and modulation and four types of fuzz. Just keep one fuzz and/or Od and anything that totally essential. If your band sounds like your influences, YES, you should get the MS

Working on some demos right now as we speak, and wishing I had my pre.

At least now I have a place to vent... Small victories.

Yes sir I'm not even going to ask when my preamp might be ready I don't want to know I'm already too geeked up as it is.

Did you order a pedal or a rack mount?

The covers I know wouldn't pay a dime around here. But I did post the Bluebeard and the mxr envelope filter on my sale ad. I'm considering the Big Spider too.
