Here's a quick video of everyone's favorite flange pedal.... I can't think of anything else to say... so I'll just link to the video. Click
*EDIT: Be aware that I have the flu, bronchitis, and strep throat. That's why I sound like ass.*

| | | | Great review. I actually just received one that I won on ebay today from DHL. Mine is made in taiwan with an orange label but doesn't seem very different from yours. Now I am going to try out those settings. |

But I tried both the BF-2 and the BF-2B and passed on them. The Bass model was too subtle and the reg just didn't have the sound I was seeking.
I'm loving my Electric Mistress! I also have a Rocktron Hypnotic Flange that is pretty cool, but I haven't had the time to really wring it out, that's about to change!

I'll get on some sound clips shortly...again, probably my EQ... |

But yeah, I've been so busy lately. I work 10 hours a day M-F along with 13 hours of class. Soon I'm getting a waiting job, so I should have more time to play! |

| | | | Spanky - what setting do you normally use. I found that Manual at 12 o'clock, Depth at 1 o'clock, Rate at 11 o'clock, and Regeneration at 12 o'clock gives you a nice flanging effect. Also if you turn the regeneration to max, and all the others to min, you get an insane effect that words can't describe. Overall, I think my flanging needs will be satisfied forever with this pedal. |

Doesn't sound as nice as the Japanese ver. It is metallic sounding, why I sold it. Added an annoying trebly tinge that didn't please my ears at all.
Now I want Jap. BF-2.
Thanks a lot Spanky!

I don't know why I'm such a fan of thick, slow sleeps - even with phasers. Just my cup of tea, I guess. |

Hey Spanks. How's things? |

Other than this bug that I'm wrestling with, I've actually been doing quite well. Back in school - been busy as hell. Got a car again... it's a beater that's falling apart, but it's wheels! Oh, and the other day I ran into my ex's old roommate (the one who was there on the morning that my ex said I broke in), and she said that she'd corroborate my story! I was gonna post about it in the big thread, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. This'll blow a HUGE hole in her story.
How's '08 treating ya? |

I love me a slow sweep too, I keep the rate knobs turned all the way down on chorus and phaser but somehow flange just makes my skin crawl. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
