I've been coughing up blood lately, so my voice sounds a little weirder than usual (which may be hard to imagine). Anyway, I ran direct from my amp to a mixer, then into my soundcard. After seeing someone rave about the HM-2, I figured that I'd just do a quick demo of the MT-2 as well. What I always liked about it is how much bark it has. Feel free to ask any questions. Video. |

IMO, when it is used with a guitar, it is not gig-worthy. Too heavy, even for metal.. too chaotic.. Has a tendency of wrecking the entire mix. But with bass, it really has good harmonics to it with lots of gain. Heavy yet clear. |

Man, the more I listen to it, the more I don't wanna sell it. It's the closest I've come to nailing that Young Widows sound. Bah!

Perhaps I should whip it out again. I just remember tone suck being overpowering.

EDIT: On guitar that is, it sounds great on bass.

| | | | Comparing this video and your video of the Heavy Metal, I'm gonna have to say I'd rather have the Heavy Metal. Now... Where to find money... |

| | | | I did cross compare, it seemed as if the HM was a clearer distortion than the MT-2 |
