nah really. last thursday i got a package from tone factor with my pog2 in it. yesterday my bbe supa charger from bongomania, n thought i was sussed for my pedal board for awhile.... turns out im doing a drumnbass live set next week... n what do i need???

some more fuzz and some filters...... gonna use a bass balls and a seekwah for the gig, prunes and custards and a big muff wicker for dirt.... plus my existing board... gassing for a 3leaf groove regulator and/or a red 442.

this stinks

p.s. any one have any listening recommendation, for stuff like jojo mayers nerve?

just for the record. its only gonna be a drummer and i.... so literally bass and drums too =) gonna be borrowing an E1 (just the week i sold my e2 as well!) as looping would probably be quite essential

maybe a chorus...or a phaser...you can get some neat sounds when you combine them....

The 442 is a good place to start. Here's my Supercollider in to my 442, you should be able to get a similar sound form the muff:

I would also get a Nocto Loco or Pollyanna octave and Moog LPF with expression pedal, which would give you a sound like this (courtesy of Fightthepower):

how bout actual songs? listening stuff. =) i've got a whole pile of pedals. my setup would probably be

my main board.. which is. a barber lts sr -> fatboost2 -> pog2 -> dls echotap -> RRR -> ad9 (maybe) ->

into a section of filters nanobassballs -> sovtek bass balls -> seek wah -> and maybe a mirco qtron

im not sure where im gonna put my prunes and custards and big muff wicker yet... i could potentially use a swollen pickle too...

and an E1 looper at the end of all that.

Check out Teebee. Not the kind of stuff that's easy to reproduce with a bass guitar, but awesome nonetheless.

Give Miloopa a whirl for bass effects inspiration. They can get cheesy but the bass sounds are unreal.

I find running my effects in parallel gives me a better tone. Also then I can mix clean and dirty sounds together.
