Going by your username and posts, I'm going to assume you are 14-15.

What other gear do you have, do you play in a band?

If you are just wanting something to toy about with, try one of the cheap digital multi FX units, you could pick up something like a Zoom 708II for peanuts on ebay. Not the best of quality, but it'll give you a little taste of everything.
