12VDC powered by PP2+?

Can someone help me with this?

I have a Maxon AD900 which needs to be ran at 12VDC. I flipped the switch on the bottom of the PP2+ and it wouldn't turn on. I then tried the 18v adapter and it wouldn't turn on. Everything else on the board works as it should.

Help please.

The AD900 takes reverse polarity, it will not work (and may possibly be damaged) if you wire it up with the standard Boss/MXR connector cable.

Yeah, I just figured that out. Do I have to order that cable separately?

How much power does the pedal actually need? The 9v/12v switchable taps only put out 100mA.

You got two options, order the cable separately or chop one of yours in half and hook the wires up backwards. Make sure the splices are soldered decent and well insulated from each other and the stuff around them.
