1970's Board

So, at the moment, the board I use for my band is currently set, but I had an idea for a little project board just to fool around with. Heres the layout:

Electro-Harmonix USA Big Muff -> Electro-Harmonix Small Stone -> Boss GEB-7 Bass EQ

Figure it would be a cool little project to do on the side, give me some vintage 1970's tones

Cheers!

Why do you have the EQ pedal on there? Just curious.

Just to boost some of the lows that'll be lost with the Muff

HaHa. Generally I avoid Effects like the plague because I have no will power. I have been doing a lot recording lately and have been delving heavy into my board. So the last couple of days I was plodding around Effects, and now look what happened. I'm meeting a guy to buy an old Japanese Boss Flange today. Tomorrow a guy to buy a bassballs nano, and over the weekend a guy to buy a Line 6 Echo Park. This is the exact reason I stay out of here. Man, I suck.

Thanks Krom. I have that pedal, and have been contemplating dumping it because I don't see much of a use for it. So every time I see someone with one, I'm asking them how to use it, just to see if I really do want to dump it. I'm going to be reconfiguring my board soon and putting the GE7 behind my OC-2 to see how it works there.

If you were really going back in time the EQ would be an MXR 6 band or 10 band EQ, the GEB 7 came later.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to plugging this into my board and seeing how it works. The wetter the better as far as I'm concerned.
