I'm powering my pedal board with a 1spot (don't try and sell me anything else!) that i have attach to a power board, that i have attached to the bottom of my board.
im just wondering if i need to buy another one now that im buying more pedals.
I now have on my board:
EHX BBM Pi
DOD FX25
MXR BOD
3leaf Groove Regulator
Boss GEB-7
VT Bass
And will add a Korg PitchBlack and possibly another boss-like pedal.
so i will be powering 7 or 8 pedals with the single 1Spot. is this to much, do i need to buy another one? I no it supplys 1700mA of current, im just wondering if ill overload it.

DOD FX25 [10mA]
MXR BOD [14mA]
3leaf Groove Regulator [<25mA]
Boss GEB-7 [16mA]
VT Bass [5mA]
Korg PitchBlack [<30mA]
and possibly another boss-like pedal:
analog [<10mA]
or
digital [<50mA]
The most I can get out of adding those up is 160mA with a big fat digital Boss pedal.
You're good. |

They usually state it in the specs section. I have a Godlyke PowerAll (virtually the same as the 1spot) and it runs my board perfectly (currently 9 pedals).

DD-20, Nova Modulator, Korg DT-10, and 4 analogue pedals off an older 1000ma 1Spot, you're perfectly ok. They put out a lot of power.

I'm running 9 analogue pedals off a 1700ma Godlyke Power-All and that includes various boutique pedals and 3 old-style EHX (Small Clone, Small Stone and Bass Balls). They seem to work fine; but do any of you get any buzz or hum, even a little tiny bit? |

Some buzz and hum is normal I think. I don't get enough that it bothers me. If you want 100% silent the isolated brick style power supplies are probably a good choice.

How do you keep the power outlet stationary?

Hey, for all of you running more than 8 pedals with a one spot do you just stick another of those daisy chain pieces on the end of the first? |

I use the 5 slot daisy chains. I have two of them and just daisy chain the daisy chains. You can use as many daisy chain pieces, and power as many pedals as you want, just make sure you don't go over the 1700mA total. |

Its defiantly cheaper to buy another daisy chain than another one spot |

I used a seperate 200ma boss to it until I upgraded to a Voodoo 2 PS. |
