if you had to fill 1U rack space and you already have a tuner and a great compressor, what would you throw in there?

Edit: I already have a great preamp (TBP-1)

Edit 2: and I'm not much of a pedal person.

Interesting suggestion. I guess I could put a file cabinet in the back of my cab too.

Power Conditioner?
I put a JuiceGoose in my rack that has 8 outlets in the back - keeps keeps the Amp, Tuner, etc. wires out of the way.

That's my vote. I had one in my rack. I kept my spare cables, strings, spare strap, and tools (string winder, screwdriver, alen wrench) in there. It was extremly handy.

I like the idea of a drawer. I got one of these Rack from Rondo a few months back.
CNB RB-600/18 Deep 4-Space Rack Bag at RondoMusic.com
The zipper pouch is (like the drawer) very handy for all the other stuff, and your stuff doesn't fly all over the place when you grab the rack by its handles.

i picked up a Funk Logic AP-302 Algorhythmic Prosecutor & it's pretty sweet. but those require 2 rack spaces.

that grill spacer below looks allright as well.

Why not just leave it open for ventilation?

Well I don't really need ventilation like that because my amp (TB-1200) has front/back ventilation.

I was hoping someone knew of a current multi-effects unit that will fill the slot. I haven't been able to find one.

I don't really need a drawer because I don't carry too much crap around, and my odyssey rack back has a pouch for my cables anyway.

16". Plenty of depth.

This is the one I have:

http://www.odysseygear.com/odyssey-products/br316.html

It's actually quite nice to have a bag handle and a shoulder strap, because the TB-1200 is about 34 lbs.

OP: I seem to be missing something. The rack bag to which you linked has external height of 7". Presumably internal height is 5.25" (= 3U).

You listed the following equipment:
Fender TB-1200 (2U)
Fender TBP-1 (1U)
Compressor (1U?)
Tuner (1U?)
------------
Total: 5U?

And you have 1U left in the rack?
