Mastotron is a silicon fuzz with huge subs. Sounds huge on guitar. Works like a charm on bass... totally adjustable input impedance to add impedance for active basses and keyboards and recorded signals. I haven't tried line-level signals into it but I'm certain that trimmed signals will work. It has a very defined bumble-bee texture. The adjustments you can make will change the attack and decay characteristics (push/relax and pulse width) the harmonic content (pulse width), the treble (tone), and the subs (sub switch).
It's a new circuit using 2222-type transistors, which are an old hobby transistor from my childhood. | The distortron is a BOR without the boost and more tonal options apparently.
They will be $150 each

They will be $150 each | hes using 2n2222's and the cheapest triple pulls you can get? thats just stingy for that price ;< it'd only cost a few more dollars to go for some better components.
