Lightbulb 2 versions of MARKBASS COMPRESSORS

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi All
Just interesting if you noticed aboout 2 versions of Markbass compessore? In the official Markbass site you can see that the compressor doesn't have XLR output and also has the volume knob. But, in UK and Israel stores there is absolutely differnt things - no Volume knob at all and there is XLR output. Any thoughts what it can be?

The one on the Markbass site is the real one, the version with the XLR and no volume is an older prototype that wasn't produced.

^^^ Correct. The one with the DI output never went into production, but the promo photo of it is still up on many retail websites.

The last two posters are correct.
There was only ever one version of this pedal (and all the others).

There were some pics floating around of the prototypes... and by the time the production rolled around, there were changes and added features. Unfortunately the pics of the prototypes got away from us.

If you think of it and have a chance, please PM me the names of the sites you saw the incorrect pics on, and I will get them changed. I would appreciate it.

Thanks!
Peter
