I was just wondering if anyone uses 2 VT Bass pedals simultaneously and how it works for them. I would think you could get more distortion this way. These seem to be cool pedals. |

I wouldn't recommend that.

unless one was set to raging distortion and the other one only a little dirty, that sort of thing could probably work. |

I wonder if someone ever used the Deluxe VT Bass AND another VT Bass plugged i the parallel output of the Deluxe one?
I'm thinking about recording this way to have two channels - One classic clean SVT sound and another overdrive channel with more trebble to get close to the Chris Squire spirit
What do you think? |

The VTD and British would be a little closer to a true faux version of Chris Squire's rig since he uses SVT 2 Pros and a Marshall Superbass, but you could easily get a similar sound with a VT by rolling off some lows and adding more treble on the dirty VT.

I saw that you have a modded one, don't you think I still need to have a modded one myself as seen as the bass frequencies would be well provided by the VTBD, what do you think?
A used British is cheaper and as you said, it's closer to CS's rig so I'm very interested in this option |

But if you run the outs of each pedal into their own independent channels and blend them, you could use the VT as a clean sound to carry the lows and blend the overdriven British channel with it and you wouldn't need the mod. I highly recommend the mod because it gives you the choice of more low frequencies or fewer, but if you're always going to blend two channels, you could pass on it.

Thank you |
