3leaf audio bass synth pedal?

Sign in to disble this ad
I dont know if this is old news, I did do a quick search and could'nt find anything.

I watched the proton demo vid and at the end he is running it through a synth, a little caption comes up saying 3leaf audio synth coming soon.

all i know is that it sounds tastey!

Interesting. Would be nice to hear the synth without the filter though, it's hard to get a good idea of what it sounds like from that.

No, the 3Leaf synth isn't old news at all; Spencer just posted that video about two days ago.

And I this video wasn't meant to demo the synth per se, it was really about showing off the Proton and then throwing out a teaser to get us talking (and it worked). I don't think Spencer would take the time to make a video that takes through all the controls of a design that's not completely final yet.

But don't worry... I'm supremely confident that over the next several months, you'll be getting a lot more information about it as the design gets closer to production.

well the tracking seems really impressive considering he is running a filter through it as well.
I cant wait to hear it solo without the filter.

I got tied up with other projects and sort of lost interest. I'm working on an octaver that will get a nice synthy sound when paired with a fuzz or a filter. In my pursuit of Stevie Wonder synth bass sounds I wound up with a Moog and came to the conclusion that it's the only way to really get that sound. Now I need to learn keyboard to play it.

I remember you mentioning this a while back... it's probably too early, but do you have any kind of projected completion date? I'm very interested in a 3Leaf octaver!

The circuit is basically done, I just have to design a circuit board for it. I designed my own custom bent steel enclosure for it which took a long time, but that's pretty much done now. It should only be a few months until it's ready. There's a pedal I've been working on almost exclusively for the past several months that pushed everything else back.

Have you guys seen Spencer's latest video showing off compressor? Check it out on his homepage, his playing has taken another leap in mastery since that one a year ago.

Aw shucks...thanks! I haven't had as much time to play lately and I feel like my skills have atrophied.
