Oh, no, Gecko, you might have to consider replacing the B3K with yet another 3Leaf pedal, to further complete your Board of Awesome Tonez.

It's probably going to be in May. It takes about 7 weeks from when I finish a prototype to get a production run built.

Yup! The PWNZOR PWNS!!

So I tried it out at band rehearsal tonight, it's exactly what I was looking for in a comp. INSTANT PUNCH! Just like Spencer himself has described it. I can't add any more to what has been said, other than that it works well with the Rusty Box!

FTR, a few weeks ago I added the PWNZOR to my top picks list--which I should have done much earlier, when I did the review. Honestly what happened was I got the PWNZOR in around the same time as I got a couple of more feature-filled and versatile pedals, and by comparison the PWN with its basically one good sound just didn't float my boat as much. But then later on, people in a thread here were looking for recommendations for a simple smooth fat opto pedal, and I neglected to mention the PWN, and someone asked why. Well, why indeed? No good reason!

It's smaller and fatter-sounding than the BBE; smaller than the Dedalo; takes normal-polarity power unlike the Demeter, and comes with customer service unlike Demeter too; costs much less than the Effectrode; fatter-sounding than the FXEng Mirage; better low end, and smaller, than the Strymon... Obviously I could keep going.

All in all, it's clearly a top pick--I just didn't realize it at first.

I know, right? The overdrive... the headphone amp... The overdrive might fit since it's in the Proton sized enclosure, BUT it'll be competing with the B3K and Dark Driving. The headphone amp... well, it'd be nice to clear the 12-channel mixer I'm currently using off my desk! (smallest I've got. ) lol Unfortunately, since I'm going back to schoolz in June, I may have to delay the purchase of the two new 3Leaf goodies...

We'll see if I can work it out. Wonder if I have anything I can sell... lol

I should add that the PWNZORs I'm selling now have a few tweaks that make it easier to use. Some of the photocells in the production batch were pretty far out of spec from the ones I was prototyping with, and it could lead to weird quirks in the release time if the ratio was high enough. I went through my stock and tweaked them so that it's pretty hard to get a bad sound out of one.

I haven't used the Dark Driving, but the B3K is pretty darn great and Doug is a great guy to boot. 3Leaf + Darkglass is a nice combo! My overdrive (which unfortunately keeps getting pushed back because of other projects) will be quite different tonally, so the two should compliment each other well.

I still think you should call it the Cloverdrive.
