Anyone try one? I searched and didn't find anything. Effects loop and everything, $199 from Bass Northwest. I have a bass on consignment with them right now, if/when it sells I may pick one up with that lovely little thing called Store Credit.

Isn't that the meatball variation that spencer (I think that's the name) on here was involved in making/marketing... A TBer had thread about making those... PM him maybe?

Also... This thread claims to have clips.

Edit... you probly saw that thread already... I read your post more carefully and it turns out I'm not actually helping. awesome.

The important thing is you're talking to me.

Actually I didn't know about that thread, it appears everything I need is in there. Cool.

hmmm... i thought that sounded pretty great... i am no envelope filter expert, though... i like the idea of a loop... and what does the 'feedback' switch do?

Feedback switch is mainly for guitarists. It takes out some of the resonance of the filter that can cause feedback. It also makes the filter sound slightly more subtle.

i was hoping it was some mental feedback loop thing that turned it into a gated destructo filter.

Count me in as enjoying the clips. I'm also a fan of having a decay and attack control on it. Two features I feel are regrettably absent from my AF-9. Don't other people want to control filter speed?

I really dig the clips. And the fact that it's designed and built by a bass player (on here) is great too.
