Woot!
Full Review & Video Here. Conclusion:
I'm not a gusher, and I usually hedge my words of praise to help my opinions come off as more than a series of sound bites. In this particular case, screw that... this pedal kicks ass! I love it! It sounds fat and warm, or seriously quacky. While it doesn't have a volume control it never explodes out of control like some filters. The feedback switch can be used to reel it in if it does start to get out of control on a particular setting. The filter is all sweet spot, where you can dial in the flavor that makes you happy without struggling through hundreds of useless settings. This pedal was here on loan, and I'll be investing in one. |

My major fault with it is that it's too transparent and doesn't get as gooey as its "Tron" equivalents. I would consider purchasing one as a portion of a synth set up, but as a standalone it's a little too bland for my current needs.
Just felt the need to balance the outpouring of praise for anyone instantly smitten by such a review. Great pedal, but by no means a silver bullet for solving everyone's filter needs.

I'd agree that it's not the wettest filter in the world but if I wanted a filter that would cut through and work well for fast finger funk it would either be the GR or the EMMA.

It does a pretty good Q-tron imitation in "Hi-Q" mode, but the normal "up" mode is the killer - an spacious and open envelope filter that is so sticky-thick it reminds me of makin love to your ol' lady! |

Hey grygrx, doing 3Leaf review vids is SO passé I still love mine. I'll own a second, really resonant filter again someday as a compliment to it, but it really get the job done in a mix. Looks like your dog got into the Pepto Bismol again. |

But that old bat has a vacation home in Miami and I'm gonna be in that will, no matter how many times I have to sweep the cobwebs out of her chimney!

And replacement surgery is a pretty penny. |
