3Leaf GR2 or Chunk Systems Agent 00 Funk?

Hello all!

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these two but I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. My goal with either of these is to make crazy splatty bubbly noises as well as play nice with my Grey Stache +.

I already have an EBS BassIQ for auto wah sounds, so I'm hoping to get a great sounding whacky filter.

Does anyone have experience with both?

Are there other filters that I should look into?

I've never owned a GR2 but played around on one a bit, its a lot closer to the EBS than the Chunk. I've owned the 00Funk II for about 9 months now. The 00FUNK is waaay more wild than any of the 3Leaf stuff. It can be a lot harder to dial in a sound and has a bit of a learning curve. Also, I'm not crazy about it without a fuzz in front (I use the brown dog) but a grey stache should work too.

If you're trying to get to outer space or make really extreme sounds, 00FUNK wins hands down. Just be prepared to spend some time figuring it out. The knobs are really interactive so you'll have to find the sweet spot on the Pitch knob and then adjust the sweep to taste.

But, if you're willing to think outside those two pedals, then the Xerograph.

A question for the OP..did you mean the 00Funk or the 00Funk mkll ?

I had the mark ii and it drove me nuts. The settings are way too sensitive and I'd have to readjust them every time I played. Plus the pedal sucks with active bass.

I was looking at the mk2. Now I'm off to check out the Xerograph!

Never used a GR2 but definitely want too. I was super disappointed in the mark ii. Wish it would have worked out.

if the 00funk behaves like the chunk os, i wouldnt buy it for envelope sounds.
