My New Favorite Pedal!

Nice write up Chronicle! I just got mine last night, and even though I only got to play with it for an hour it's my new favorite pedal! For those of you with "very" active basses that have had trouble trying to get an envelope filter to respond well to your bass...this is it! This is the only filter that has ever played nicely with my bass, and I couldn't be happier. It's wet, slippery, greasy and easy to use. Watch out for that "Lo" toggle setting for the Range, it's addictive! Spencer was great, and the pedal showed up in just a couple days. Highly recommended!

Are you using a filter at the moment Chronicle?

I am so happy with the 3 Leaf. It has all the things I loved about my Mini Q Tron and none of the things that were a problem. Plus it is so much more versatile and seems to sound great no matter how I set it.

No volume spike or loss, the integrity of your tone stays in tact, true bypass, small, simple, and sounds so funky and wet either clean or with some drive. Its pretty much perfect!

Yes, the 3Leaf is on my main board and my Prometheus is also on the same board.

When you guys add dirt, do you use the effect loop on the pedal? If not, are you putting it before or after the 3 Leaf? I have a Bass Big Muff Pi on the way along with a Micro POG. I hope they all play well together. I have an MXR 288 BOD as well, but it doesn't track my bass quite well enough even though I LOVE the tone on that thing. I am hoping the Micro POG will do a better job with the tracking, and blend well with the 3 Leaf.

Try different combos and see which one you like. Everyone likes it one way or the other.
