4 pedals - which sequence?

Hi guys
In which sequence should I connect these 4 pedals mentioned in alphabetic order:
Autowah
Chorus
Distortion
Octaver

Try every order and go with what sounds the best. Also, if you do want recommendations you'll probably want to post the specific names of what pedals you're using.

I'd go octaver first and chorus last, in any case.

Distortion and autowah is a little trickier; Assuming that the wah triggers on the envelope of your signal, putting it in front of the distortion will give it a more dynamic input which might make it sound more lively. On the other hand a wah-effect is essentially a filter, which means that it will probably be more pronounced if it is placed after the distortion, since a distortion compresses your signal (evening out the cuts/boosts of the filter).

I personally MUCH prefer distortion AFTER wah, but it is just personal preference...
