| Most pedals draw only a few mA, or they would drain the 9V battery very quickly.
The ones you have to be careful of are those that are AC powered only, like the X2. You are probably now nearing the usable limit of your 300 mA supply. The low cost adapters should never be run near their maximum as they have poor regulation and noise filtering. You might keep your eyes open for a suitable 500 mA adapter in the future.
Meanwhile - give it a try. You can't hurt anything - the signal might just get noisy or clipped if the supply sags down. Watch for the LEDs dimming - this is a sign of current limiting.
