9V EQ pedals?

Just looking for quality EQ pedals that run on 9Vs. I only know of the GEB-7. No, I don't consider Behringer "quality", I'm picky like that .

I have one of these DOD FX42B Bass EQ | DiscoFreq's Effects Database which sound really good - mine's all beat up, but works well and for 10 bucks on ebay can't go wrong. I suppose a clean looking one does $20 or so. Voiced very well, quiet, the low end fattens excellently, and brings a big boost.

I'm awaiting delivery of an Empress ParaEQ. ~$200 second hand though.

There are very, very few EQ pedals that don't run on 9V. So you're going to have to narrow the options down in some other way.

Haha, I figured that was probably the case but I can't find many options. Nothing wrong with what's been suggested, just seeing what's out there. At first, the idea was to have something that I can power with my BBE Supa Charger along with the rest of my board but I'm thinking that I don't really need an EQ that does that now.

There's this MXR 6 band graphic -- if 100hz is low enough for the bottom band:
Dunlop Manufacturing :: Electronics :: MXR :: 6-Band Graphic EQ

They also have a 10 band version, but it takes 18V.

I recently bought a B.Y.O.C. (Build Your Own Clone) 3 band parametric. It's _fully_ parametric -- you can select bandwidth, as well as freq.:
paraeq
(They had a graphic EQ too, but it's been discontinued.)

They're kits, but you can get folks to build them for you (I did). Quality is good.

I think the GEB-7 is fantastic myself

But it depends on what you consider an "EQ pedal"

The sansamp bass driver, para driver and VT bass, MXR M80 all have EQ capabilities and run on 9V. Fishman makes some great stuff too.

Those are just some examples.

Now that I think about it more, I'll probably end up just going with the Whirlwind Bass Ten even though it operates on 18V. I like the range of frequencies it allows to be boosted and cut. The Empress ParaEQ looks sweet too.

The MXR 10-band works well with a 9v-to-18v power scaler. My Godlyke power-all has the spare milliamps to make it work.

Did a quick search and found out that Source Audio is doing a 8-band programmable EQ so I'm just waiting for that now. Well, either that or I'm gonna just get another MWBDP and use it for EQ.

The Bass MWD Pro would be the handier option if you are looking for distortion/fuzz and want to condense pedal space.

I actually had one before and the sound was cool but my Brown Dog pretty much wins over anything I've tried when it comes to dirty tone. Of course, I managed to sell it before I thought of using it as a clean EQ pedal, lol .

It also has a Noise Gate feature.
