About Velcro for pedal boards

Sign in to disble this ad
Just wondering, what would you guys recommend for Velcro for pedal boards? I'm in the process of building a board out of pine 2.5" widebalatas. What type of Velcro is best and wheres the best for ordering it?

I don't like velcro. It collects lint, the adhesive fails when it gets hot out, and it's too much of a commitment.

So I was searching Amazon for 3M Dual Lock and each roll it brought back was about $500 bucks and 150 feet of the stuff. I'll continue the search, but I just though it was sort of funny, don't really need 500 bucks worth of Velcro...

I go to a store around here (Boston MA) called Windsor Button...it's a sewing store! Do they have sewing stores where you live? At WB they have the roles set up by a yardstick and it's priced by the yard.
It has adhesive backing but I add brushed on- not squeezed on- super glue. The weak point is the adhesive.
