Adapter for mid-80s Ibanez/Maxon Master/L/10-Series

I've just gotten back into the wild world of fuzz (for guitar) and can't find any info on which AC adapter to use.

The pedals are:

Ibanez STL - that's a Maxon-made L-Series super tube screamer

Maxon ST-01 - the Maxon version of the STL

They look like these:

The Ibanez should be a standard Boss type adapter, the Maxon probably does too.

+1, I've never seen an Ibanez/Maxon with a non-Boss-style power jack. Except for the ones that had an attached AC cord of course.

Everything before the 9 series used a 1/8" DOD/EHX style jack. They even kept it in the TS808 reissue and included a cable adapter. Then they switched the boss barrel style with the 9 series.

Thanks a lot.

Are there any SNAFU's as far as different types and voltage ratings on the Boss barrel style, or is it one size fits all?

Technically, the Boss barrel can be either polarity or any voltage (up to a point); but in common practice the Boss-type jacks are almost always 9V, negative tip. The notable exception being Boss itself, where some of their older pedals take 12V.

After searching around some I've noticed ACA-120 adapters and PSA-120/T adapters.

I think something sxaid the PSA could work in some ACA applications with an adapter (an adapter for the adapter?). That gave me the impression that the ACA is older and probably what I should try. Does that make sense?

Found this:

http://www.stinkfoot.se/andreas/diy/.../bossadapt.htm

Seems like PSA = regulated (for stuff after Aug, 1997), and ACA = unregulated.

Not that simple. ACA prior to '97 was 12 VDC, and ACA post '97 was 9 VDC. So a PSA will work for the 9 VDC (later) ones. Neither has any specific correlation to Ibanez/Maxon, except insofar as I'm putting my imaginary money on 9 VDC.
