Not particularly useful to anyone but
V1 Mesa Boogie Bottle Rocket http://www.grygrx.net/bass/tayste/Me...e%20Rocket.mp3
Toasted Modified Grunge http://www.grygrx.net/bass/tayste/Do...d%20Grunge.mp3
Signal chain is
Valenti No3 into pedal into Summit TD-100 into M-Audio Firewire 410 Into Audacity.
No eq no additional fx.
I do switch the bass from active to passive mode near the end of both clips but makes no difference in how they react.
Enjoy
BTW the DOD looks like this

A modified Grunge? Well, now that the sale is out on the table, you better watch out because DanTulip is going to be blowing up your PM box as soon as he see's this thread, and if you don't respond within 2 days (holiday no less) then there will be hell to pay!
That grunge clip was almost painful to listen to to be honest.. lots of bass, but not for me anyway. The BottleRocket sounds pretty good, but I think I like the Muffn better- maybe a different story in person though. Either way it looks huge so there's no way it would replace the muffn. What is your take on the two Tayste?

The Mesa isn't that much bigger than the muff'n it's essentially square unlike the rectangle the muff'n is. So it's wider but not as long.
The DOD is just evil, it sort of came about with Toasted talking about getting into modding and building pedals and he gave me a list of things he wanted to try and the Grunge was one of them so I bought one and had it sent to him.
Don't know what he did but it's the heaviest distortion I've ever found. Did you find it painful in a good way to listen to?

That DOD is very heavy, and reminds me in a way of the Tentacle Love Super Fuzz (Ive only used mine for an hour before putting it away.. not my style). It's almost painful in a bad way- searing high gain. I don't really listen to any heavy music or even much rock, but I can see it being painful in a good way for many people who frequent this board- but too high pitched for me. |

ps: sorry i didnt clock on that they werent for sale on TB. More fool me.
PPS: I am a whore for sales, i hope i dont p1ss off anyone in the process. Thats not my intention.
