advantages of running an effects loop?

ive been looking into the BARGE CONCEPTS VFB-2 VARIABLE FEEDBACK & BLEND Looper(yes that was a copy and paste) and i wanna know what else i could use this for? ive read about it helping with multiple pedals and noisy pedals, but should i run all my pedals through here or what?
