i have a green muff with a busted battery clip. i've decided once and for all to fit a dc jack so i can use a power supply. has anyone any advice to help me do this? or a link to nice handy guide? i want it to work with a standard boss powersupply.

Ok, let me ask you a few questions first. Do you have a soldering iron and are you decent at electronics? I ask this because with the Russian Muffs, it may not be the easiest thing to do.

My muff has a boatload of room on the back panel, to add a power socket, or otherwise. I plan to add a power switch, and bypass the jack/switch function.

Well... I'm not 100% on this, but if you're not looking to repair the battery clip, you would just need to get a dc jack and connect it using the leads from the battery clip.
