Advice Needed + Questions Regarding Line 6 PODxt Live

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, I am thinking about selling my pedalboard and investing in a PODxt Live. What do you guys think? I have a BOSS BCB-60 with Tuner, Limited Enhancer, Equalizer, Overdrive, and Chorus pedals (all by boss) and then a generic Wah pedal by Lyon. Do you think it is worth it to sell the pedals/board and invest in the Line 6?

And how does the Line 6 work? Does it just go into my amp like a normal pedal would?
Thanks!

I can't really tell you if the pedals you currently have are worth selling for the XT since I've never used any of those pedals.

I can tell you that I LOVE my Bass PodXT Live. The sounds you can get out of the unit are amazing, and once you spend some time with it its very easy to pilot. My only complaint with mine is that the built in expression pedal squeeks a lot. Its just on the unit itself, the sound doesn't come through the amp. I used some electrical grade lubricant and it pretty much fixed the problem, my other option is loosening the screws but I just haven't had time to go into it.

It really comes down to how much you like tweaking, because you can spend hours perfecting a sound due to all the options. Once you have it set tho your good to go.

The unit does function like a pedal, it can go through the amp input or through the effects loop. You can also use it as a computer interface with the right software. It also has a dedicated DI output as well.

I spent $299 on mine and would again in a heartbeat. If you have any more specific questions feel free to PM me, I've spent lots of time with it.
