Advice for Posting Clips

Sign in to disble this ad
I want to start posting up clips for you guys and gals of some of my pedals - AMT Communist Pig, Uncle Ernie's BassDriver, etc. What's the best way to do this?

I have Pro Tools and know how to record clips. That's about all I know how to do. However, what's the best way for getting those clips up here?

Thanks.

You'll need to export your ProTools as a .wav or .mp3 or something, which should be pretty easy to do, it's actually been awhile since I've used ProTools so I can't remember exactly what to do, but if you can't find it I'm sure you could find it in the help search thing.

After that you can simply and easily upload clips to sites like www.putfile.com, which I use, or www.soundclick.com, which I also use. Just know for soundclick you will need mp3 format files I believe. But putfile will do .wavs or whatever else too.

I am really looking forward to clips of these pedals so if you need any additional help don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks Mark. I'll start working on the clips of the Communist Pig and try to post them up this weekend. I haven't received teh BassDriver yet. I thought it would come today, but I guess I'll have to wait until Monday.

Yeah, no rush! I just don't think there are any clips of either of those pedals anywhere, so anything you could do would be greatly appreciated!

I'll get them up soon. I'm working on the AMT Communist Pig right now.

Ok! Unfortunately the computer I'm on now doesn't even have a sound card so I'll have to wait until I can get online with my computer. But if you can, put them up for download on soundclick, then I could download them and get to hear them over some decent speakers. Otherwise, putfile is fine too!
