To be clear, the Bogdan and the Polish Love are the same pedal, right?

It's November bud.

Btw, did you use the boost mode on the Polish love? That's not fair as the boost mode isn't its specialty :/

edit:

yes bongo.

Check the specs: in one clip he did, in the other he didn't

That's what i meant. It sounds awesome with that just enough grit setting. I guess i'm getting confused at his Distortion and OD mode descriptions.

I'm guessing "OD" is the boost setting.

OD = Non-Boost
Dist = Boost

Unlabeled and no manual, I just called it what it sounded like to me.

I just listened to Challenge 3 and that is definitely a weird comparison. The Polish love has far too much gain in there to compare it to the other pedal. Basically, it's asking the voter "Hey, do you like your normal tone with the slightest distortion and scooped mids, or do you like the distortion on this one?"

Sorry, I learned to always question the statistics of things

edit:

same thing with challenge #1. Unfair fight!!!

I selected some random tones and was curious what people would select, I wasn't attempting to compare apples to apples. If that had been my attempt then it would have been unfair.

Also note, no statistics were used in the creation of this post.

Alright, I was thinking this was comparing the pedals to other pedals with similar settings to see which people would like more. My bad

Wow the Polish Love sounded a lot worse than I was expected. The Penny DS-1 had tons of bass wow. Grygrx - can you post a sample of your dry tone to compare bass loss (I'm curious how much bass the Blackstone loses)?
