BEWARE... I only play with a pick on this vid.
Fingerstyle players have been warned.

"...I can't say enough good things about the Presence knob. I (usually) use a pick when playing with any sort of overdrive or fuzz just to help out with definition. The Agro pedal really helps definition happen when playing with my fingers though. Having it on my board has already changed the way I play certain songs. Really dig this thing."

1) How does it sound live in a full band at high volumes? I've got a couple of pedals that sound really crappy DI and into headphones but which sound awesome in a live setting (and vice versa). Based on the controls and wide variety of sounds in the video I'm guessing that you could easily find something that could cut through the mix. Is that a fair assumption?
2) Is the AGRO casing exactly the same as the rest of the pedals? I ask because I really friggin hate the metal casing lip that extends over the front and sides. Those lips make it very difficult to use right-angle plugs and also makes attaching it to a board with velcro more difficult.
Thanks!

2. Yes, it's the same casing. I haven't had any issues with the casings...no problems with right angles (must depend on the manufacturer) and Aguilar includes spacers and a replacement screw for easy velcro placement and mounting on a board...for all of their pedals of similar design.

akaTrent, you did such a nice job with the video, I tempted to ask if you have a bass playing friend who's good with finger style who could come over and help you make another. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
