I just got back from Bass NW today, which got the first two AGRO overdrives in the country. Here are my thoughts:
The unit is much smaller and lighter than I expected.
The wall wart is really small and shouldn't be a problem for most people.
As far as the sound, it's alright. I guess it's the same as the overdrive channel of the AG500, but I haven't played that one so I'm not sure. It sounds very solid-state, which I wasn't too crazy about.
After that, I tried the EBS Valve Drive, which blew me away. Easily the best bass overdrive I've ever heard. I ended up walking away with one. |

When you said it was a nice wall wart I figured you weren't too crazy about the sound...
I'll have to check out an EBS Valve Drive. Have you compared it to a Fulltone Bassdrive? I've read that those are good.
I'm primarily a guitarist, have bought and sold over 20 overdrive/distortion pedals in the last two years while trying to find "my" sound, don't have the will to do the same with bass, lol. |

I know exactly how it's going to sound as I had an AG500 for a long time, but it should be sweeeet with my DB750. |

That sounds like something beringher would do... |
