Aguilar TH: swap AGS for mute

Hi all,
would this be possible?
I like my TH very much but have absolutely no use for the AGS function. Would it be possible to rewire the thing in such a way that the AGS footswitch becomes a mute switch (reversible mod if possible)?

Any input welcomed.
