Hello - can anyone tell me how long this unit will run on batteries?

I don't know but it is very cool that it runs on phantom power.

Not as long as my other pedals, despite having two batteries. Phantom power keeps it alive live, but I'm getting a multi-supply soon anyway. Batteries are too risky.
