Keep an eye on ebay and be prepared to spend a LOT of money.

Take a big breath, count up your pennies and be prepared to wait. Check the classifieds here, ebay are your best bets.

They've recently been going for $850+ on Ebay.

Why do you need one so badly?

My soundman mentioned to me recently that he might want to sell his (there's no way I'm ever selling mine . . . ).

You can PM me and I can get you in touch with him if you like.

I won't disagree with you, but if someone is willing to pay it then it's obviously worth that much to someone. It's a really unique pedal and nothing else sounds quite like it, but I'd definitely rather spend that kind of money on something else.

It costs that much because every other bassist wants to be Chris Wolstenholme when they grow up. It would never go for anywhere near that, unique sound or not, if Chris didn't use it. It is that annoying combination of being discontinued and used by one of the most popular effect using bassists on the planet...a la bass whammy.

I'm just curious if that's why the OP 'needs' the pedal lol.

Funny part about that is it is used in 5 songs really... And most are not the popular ones.

I have one in excellent condition, and I'm fixin to sell it. Any offers before it goes on eBay?
It's only left my house once about 10 years ago. My soundman (who now builds Quidley Amps) told me he never wanted to see it again ! (I don't know how to use it!) I'm the original owner (Seems like I bought it in 98' after reading that review in Bass Player) Has the power source with it too.
By the way, anyone know where I can find a Fretless Stingray 5, Sunburst UNLined?

just a heads up, sales fishing ads aren't ok on TB. and you have to be a supporting member to post in the classifieds.
