Akai Headrush E2 Needs a Second Amp or Aux?
 

I've got the akai headrush for my looping and delay needs. It has in, out and then 4 extra outs. It was working alright for me when the head I was using had an aux in for the second out but the looper and delay effects don't seem to work without having the "head 1" out plugged into something. The echo feature, however, does work with just bass>headrush>amp.

Am I doing something wrong here? How can I remedy this?

The extra outputs are only meant to work in tape echo mode.
