Akai Headrush E2 users- a question...

Just got a Headrush and had a question about the looping function- the manual says that to make the first loop, you hit the right button to start recording and then hit the right button again to stop recording and begin the loop. When I hit the right button the second time, nothing happens- the red light stays lit, and I'm assuming that the recording starts over again. My feeling is that the manual just had a typo, because I can start recording with the right button, then hit the left button and the loop I just recorded starts playing.

Any comments from fellow Headrush owners?

By the way- I love this pedal so far (just got it in the mail yesterday)! The Tape Echo has some amazing sounds!

Thanks,
Karl

Yeah that manual drove me crazy. Hit the right button to start the loop, then hit the LEFT button when you want the loop to start playing. Great pedal though I love mine. It's great pedal for live use in particular.

Thanks- I figured it was just the manual, just wanted to make sure it wasn't defective before the 2 month warranty ended!

Yes...mine too. Kinda had me freaked when I first plugged it in. And the pedalA start/pedalB stop recording setup is a bit confusing if you are used to using a single footswitch to start/stop loop recording (i also use a Lexicon JamMand and Gibson EDP...)

But otherwise (and I just got an E2 a couple of weeks ago...), I really like this pedal. Tape delay is quite cool, but the looper fuction really sounds good with bass (a lot of loopers do not...)
