Alesis AirFx connectivity

I'm thinking of buying an Alesis AirFx and running it like this:
bass>AirFx>amp. The AirFx has two rca inputs and outputs, so am I going to need a 1/4" mono or stereo to rca cable to make this work?

You're only getting a mono signal from your bass, so you just need two mono 1/4" -> RCA cables.

One goes bass --> effect, the other goes effect --> amp. Two cables.
