Alesis BassFX help

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi there,

Anyone worked out how to use the Alesis BassFX yet? I've mucked around with it for a couple of hours but have no idea how to get to or set each effect.

I've read the owners manual but am no clearer on how to use it!!

Cheers,
D

Still no nearer! Have read a few damning reviews and I am quickly moving towards the same opinion.

Have emailed Alesis - will see if I get any help from them.

Just to wrap up this thread:

I received no reply from Alesis - this FX pedal is an excellent example of the phrase "you get what you pay for!"

In summary: a complete waste of money - avoid like the plague!

Does it not work at all? You turn the left (I believe) knob to the play position, then use the up/down pedals to toggle through the presets.

I had one, but gave it away earlier this week.

Yes it works - I managed to get quite a few of the FX working but the manual was absolutely useless when I wanted to start changing settings etc. It seemed like I was just looping around the same 10 or so FX over and over.

Also, the amp simulation is terrible.

Anyway, the threads I've found on it (and there's very few) have said much the same thing and strangely, everyone had sold the pedal shortly after buying it! That's what I'm doing by the way,

But don't worry TalkBass people, you are safe - I won't sell it on here.

I just clicked through the presets with mine until a battery leaked inside it.
