ive ahad an empty space in my rack and been thinking an eq or compressor would be nice to fit in there... stumbled accross this recently, looks decent would it be ok for bass or more for a pa?...

heres it new

thatd have 20euro delivery too so 131 instead of 100+ im not sure delivery probably not too much a tenner basicly.

good price? id try to get him down to 75 or so anyway as this new is 111euro so not really saving much anyway... keep in mind everything over here is a bit more expensive

so what you think?...

It would probably work fine for bass, but there are a couple of things to consider before buying it:

- Are its in/out connectors balanced or unbalanced? What about the connectors on the devices you'll be putting it between?

- Having so many bands of EQ to mess with can sometimes be more trouble to dial in sensibly, with lesser quality results, compared to a nice semi-parametric EQ.

no idea about the balanced/ness of it what does this affect?
so in your opinion probably not worth the hassle?

yeh about the too many bands i would probably agree i have a bozz 16band eq and im perfectly happy with that but id much prefer a rackmounted thing i could leave as is and turn on everything and not have to fiddle around.. and use the bozz for gigs without my own amp. if youre bothered or anyone else are there any rackmount eq's youd recommend that would be similar to the boss but 1u is all i have to work with. and max price of 150euro.

It's not so much a question of what it affects, as much as you must take care to identify whether it is balanced or unbalanced, and whether in/outs of the devices you plan to connect it to are one or the other.

If you can find that out for all of the devices, then I'll help further.
