Alesis nanobass for taurus sounds?

Has anyone any experience with the alesis nanobass and its taurus patch? Is it any good? Tried to search, but didn't get any good results.

I'm looking for a cheap way to get a tourus'ish sound. prefrably some sort of a midi unit i can use with midi footpedals.

I have MIDI pedals made from Basyn kit and Fatar pedals. About 150 euros complete. Then I have an old laptop computer with SAVIhost and Taurus VST, both freeware. Works great!

Drone bank number 1 does a pretty good impression...
