Alleva Coppolo preamp pedal
Just scored this about a month ago. Anyone know any more about it? Has an engraved message on the back.
"#2 in a series of gold crackle, smaller box. 4/30/02"
Trying to see if i can use it in my rig. So far, it sounds very nice and transparent w/o any boost which is great. Just treble and bass knobs.
I'll probably hold onto it for when i put the final version of my bass board together.
Been moving pedals around for too long. It's definitely a sweet pedal.
That one was made in the NYC shop on 9th ave
Its the same guts thats in his basses.. Paul Turner has one of the ones that you have
Very cool... I'd hang on to that one.
AC still offers this pedal on their site as does Sadowsky.
Having the controls on board makes sense but do either of these offer more than tone changing at the tap of a foot switch?
Can either of these offer a better tone than one could get out of a great amp?
Hey yes. (dammit, just seeing this).
It's good for use with passive basses, which most of mine are.
Great addition to the arsenal.
