Always on Limiter for spikes?

Sign in to disble this ad
while the boss lmb-3 does an ok job i don't want to leave it on all the time. I do sometimes play with a bunch of effects including some moogs that can put out some big spikes. So to protect my gear from damage, do you have a small pedal recommendation that can stay on all the time and not really impact the tone?

from what i read the demeter compulator might be the best option out there for this or possibly the maxon cp-9+

also i want it to be a pedal and not a rackmount unit

i tried to read bongo's page but i still want opinions out there

I'm gonna say the Compulator.
I'm still holding out for the new JHS Lime Aid bass compressor. High hopes.
