Since I got the SFT, I've been using it increasingly as a tone shaper and have it on 40-70% depending on who I'm playing with. I'm using a mesa M-Pulse 600, so I also get a great clean tube tone, but, I've grown to really like the ampegy B15 tone I get wih SFT.
So, I'm curious about what other pedals have become "nearly always on" for TBFXers.

I use it as a toneshaper too, even when I have a good amp on stage. When it's turned on I know that I'll get my sound! I owned couple other pedals, pods, but this thing is my best purchase so far! :-)

I'm planning on getting a VT Bass too and I'm gonna have to see if it's going to be my BDDI that becomes my OD pedal with the VT Bass always on as a preamp, or the other way around. |

I use the VT more as a tone shaper & for a higher line level for recording, plug into low amp input. Years ago I always used a Boss CH2 into a seperate small chorus amp, but that was the 80s-90s before things got serious. |

| | | | ibanez tuner -> BBM -> Aphex Bass Xciter -> Harte VXL Attack
all on all the time.
Run it into an ampeg B2R, run for pretty much only power, eq adjustments for different stages/rooms.
just picked up a Korg AX5b to experiment with some delays/chorus's/synths but will probably never gig with it.
