A Preliminary Look at the Circumstances Surrounding the Purchases of an EHX Stereo Polychorus and a Dunlop CryBaby 105Q Bass Wah Within a Period of Twenty-Four Hours
INTRO: I have an interesting pedal buying history (andvari7, 1). The specific pedals aren't so interesting - although, I feel pretty special, owning the pedals on the Amazing Technicolor Nightmare Pedalboard - as my behavior surrounding their purchases. I have been, for many moons now, a victim of bad timing - I can't tell jokes properly, and, most importantly, I say and do certain things at very, very inappropriate times. To quote Chris Rock, "It's like gettin' high at yo' momma's house."
SUBJECT 1: The Polychorus: Having been searching, unsuccessfully, for roughly a year, I found a deal, at Music123, for a Polychorus. One of those "even with next-day shipping, this is going to be cheaper than buying it in the store or anywhere else on the web" specials, I suppose. <aside> Now comes the point in the story where I dance around the issue of price, because that's not my favorite topic of discussion. But, I'm going to break form a bit, because anyone who goes to Music123's website can see it. </aside> I like the fact that, even with next-afternoon shipping (done so that I can get away with buying this, without my mother, brother and friends making comments about my purchasing decisions), it cost me LESS than not only buying it in the store or elsewhere online, but also less than the regular Music123 price of $209.
SUBJECT 2: The 105Q: On the Harmony Central classifieds, I posted an ad for a Line6 AM4. I didn't sell it, but I did find an ad for a pedal I would accept in trade for it: the 105Q. It must be noted that this isn't the first time I've ever used this pedal, and, from my earlier posts, you would be hard-pressed to find loads of praise from me (andvari7, 1). But, since owing the eternally-amazing Fulltone Clyde Deluxe, I've had a change of heart. Actually, buying the Clyde made me realize what I loved about the CryBaby, and why I'm a two-wah man. With that, I loaded some more money into my PayPal account (here, disclosing the amount could cost me the effect to some sneaky TB goon who reads long-winded drivel from a man who, in the immortal words of Jeremy Clarkson, eats pastries, drinks brown beer, and thinks curry is exotic.
<aside> Before I continue, I must declare that I am NOT "Top Gear" presenter, and Daily Telegraph columnist, James May. </aside>
PEDALS:
They haven't arrived yet. I haven't even paid for one of them, thanks to PayPal's 5 business day policy.
CONCLUSIONS: This will be expanded even further, once, obviously, I actually GET the pedals. But, I think I might be getting the Polychorus on Thursday, which is always a good sign.

And I will begin my reviews proper of the pedal in the coming days. I just have to buy the wah, that's all.

I have been caught out a few times while my cash is stuck in limbo between the two.

I have been caught out a few times while my cash is stuck in limbo between the two. | I've been there plenty of times - it happened when I bought my ESP, my laptop, my Carbon Copy, and probably the Polychorus.

So what were you trying to say again?

The Polychorus will be here tomorrow. The wah will be here some time in the near future (I have to play a bit of pm-tag with the seller, and it takes some time). Soundclips will follow. Maybe I won't refer to the Residents in it, but no promises.

Edit: To the original question, I say no. You are incomplete.
I sincerely hope this helps.

In the meantime, it's a cross between a philosophy lecture and a freak circus.

I slowed down a little and read the fine print and FAQs from Paypal and learned the checking account transfers aren't instant unless you have a credit card entered in to Paypal. After entering one, all my transactions have been instant.
I like how you referenced your old posts. You could have scored a perfect 4.8 if you had made them hyperlinks.

I am not a complete idiot, as it turns out, because I'm now madly in love with Polly. In my new thread, the name of which had to be altered from its original glory, and, as such, I refuse to name it, I go into great detail. So, I guess this one's over?
Except for the 105Q. Well, that pedal has been around for what, a decade? Everything that can be said about that pedal probably already has, so no grandiose review of the industry-standard wah from me.
