Americas's Woman Tonight bass/guitar solo

Hey hey,
Just heard Woman tonight for the first time in forever - in the middle when the guitar and bass are trading solos - any one know what is being used to get that bass distortion?

Cool song, no idea what effect, but it sounds a fairly vanilla flavoured OD that is double tracked with the clean tone.

Thanks. Looking more into distortion like - have tried with the NYC BF and the bass modded RAT and couldn't quite dial it in yet. Will keep at it,

I really love America, they had some good songs, I really like Horse With No Name, Tin Man, Ventura Highway, and Sister Golden Hair.

I couldn't find a link to the studio version of the song, but I did find a live version where the did they solo, and there's definitely some overdrive on the bass. I figure something like a Tubescreamer would get you there; I use a Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive, which is a Tubescreamer clone with a clean blend on it.
