Amptweaker Tight Control?

Did a search, read through the Amptweaker website and manuals, watched several videos, and I'm still unclear if the "Tight Control" is just a glorified EQ or something a bit more special. Does anyone have any insight? Been curious about this for awhile.

No incite but I've seen "tight" controls that cut the low end to remove flab.
