AMT Bass Pig clips

Sign in to disble this ad
Saw the AMT Bass Pig on sale at Musiciansfriend for $69 and ordered it. Not a bad pedal in my opinion.

Below are 3 clips of how it sounds. Both were done with my Warmoth J into the pig and straight into my laptop.

The first clip pig-1 starts with my clean sound, then goes into various settings on the Bass Pig.

The second clip pig-2 starts tame and I keep adding highs and oink to get nasty.

The third clip pig-3 is using only 1 setting as shown in the picture for the pedal. This is the kind of sound I hoped the pedal could get.

Oh well, here are the clips.

edit: Soundclick keeps poping up a dialog that tries to close your window, just click "NO". If you know how to fix this let me know and I will correct the URL below.

They are clips: pig-1, pig-2 and pig-3

Nice. I have clips on TB of the Communist Pig. They sound very similar to me. Any idea what the difference is supposed to be?

Odd... clips only take me to the home page no matter how I use them.

I heard that the AMT pedals follow this progression:
Capitalist Pig - mild gain via tube
Bass Pig - mid gain
Communist Pig - heavy gain

AMT does not have the Bass Pig currently listed on their website. Don't know if it is discontinued or not. The sale price made the pedal attractive and I am pretty happy with it. Has a different sound than my other dirt pedals and it keeps the low frequencies.

I might have to get one of these. $70 is solid as hell and it sounds great.
