Analog - digital; digital - analog; and again ... what effect?

I'm considering one of those snazzy Line6 G50 digital wireless things because I always seem to be tripping over my lead. I've already got a Line6 M9 which I like, but which I use with a Little Lehle for hardware bypass.

I don't use a lot of effects, just add them occasionally: most of the time I'm clean.

Now if I include the G50 in the signal path, I'll be getting two lots of ADDA conversion (and it makes the Lehle redundant). Given that ADDA conversion isn't lossless, as I understand it, is having two lots of conversion in the signal path going to degrade the signal?

Thanks for any thoughts.

I thought the M9 & M13 had true bypass, no?

It should be completely inconsequential. Since, as I understand it, the converters in the Relay series are damn good, it'll be just like going analog. Maybe better, in some ways.
