Analogman chorus led issues

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,

I recently received an Analogman Chorus - brand new from analogman. I have a little issue with the led. If I don't plug a jack in the input, and turn the effect on, then the led lights up. but as soon as I plug a jack, it turns off, even though the effect is on. if it's off, the light is off as well.

so I'm guessing there must 1 or 2 wires that are not connected where they should and instead of lighting up when both the effect is on and the jack is plugged, it only lights when the jack is unplugged.

anyone got any idea which wires to look at? or if someone got a properly working one and wants to post some guts pics he is welcome

here is a pic of the inside of mine if that might help:

the input jack is at the bottom right of the pic, led is on the left, output jack on top.

please note this is the regular chorus, not the bi- or mini- one.

thanks in advance

You said that you just got it right?

Why not see if you could send it back to fix or replace it for a new one? Seems broken to me. I am sure that the Analogman him self would want to get to the bottom of said problem.

Basically...You just dropped some dough on this fantastic pedal. Let the man worry about what is wrong with it.

Yeah, his customer service is excellent. There is no reason to be messing around with it yourself if there is an issue.
